🌸 Together We Bloom | Monthly Highlights
February 2026

February at Blooming Connections was filled with creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning. Participants enjoyed a meaningful visit to the Denver Art Museum, where they explored a variety of exhibits, encouraging creativity, observation, and self-expression through art. We also visited the Morrison Nature Center, where participants had the unique opportunity to see and safely touch reptiles while learning about wildlife, habitats, and conservation.

Our group returned to the Castlewood Library Makerspace, where participants designed and created their own Blooming Connections tote bags. This experience supported independence, pride, and skill-building while introducing new tools and creative technologies. We also enjoyed a peaceful outing to the Denver Botanic Gardens, connecting with nature and engaging the senses through beautiful indoor and outdoor environments.

Back at the center, participants engaged in STEM activities, building hands-on projects that encouraged problem-solving, focus, and teamwork. We also celebrated Linda’s and Angie’s birthdays together, creating opportunities for social connection, community building, and shared joy.

Each activity supported personal choice, social development, independence, and meaningful participation in the community. We are proud to continue creating enriching experiences where every individual can grow, connect, and bloom. 🌷
